sickidivall's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Universal Studios We went to "Universal Studios Hollywood" while we were in california... It is one of those places that you always see commercials for, but never really hear about anyone going. Well this is why. IT IS TOTALLY BOGUS!!! Here is why. There are only 2 rollercoaster rides. The rest of the experience consists of sitting down and watching shows, and walking through fake movie sets. Here is another reason... The highest technology of creating a thrill for the audience is by squirting water at them. It is understandable on the Jurrassic Park, which is a water ride, even though the dinosaurs squirting water out of their mouths was sort of annoying... But it didnt cause much of an effect when you were walking through the "Van Helsing Mansion" or even in the mummys tomb. What about Shrek 4-D... The fourth d is getting water squirted in your face! The only thing that didnt squirt us with water in the face was the Animal Planet Animal show. That was my favorite. Also, Universal Studios has very bad line management(and in the lines there is tons of water being sprayed on you). I waited the longest I have ever waited for a ride, and the ride was the shortest I have ever been on, and it is supposed to be their best ride. Also IT COSTS MORE THAN DISNEY LAND!!!! I do not reccomend going to Universal Studios Hollywood, ever, unless you have the company that I had.
